National campaign on promotion of reading launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Ion Creanga National Library for Children today launched online a national campaign on the promotion of reading, Let’s Read Together, the tenth issue.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the library’s director, Eugenia Bejan, has said that two books would be promoted at this issue.

According to Bejan, the campaign will take place all over Moldova on the period February-December 2021 and will involve children, teenagers, as well as adults. The books recommended were edited through the programme on editing national books and are distributed in public libraries of Moldova through the office, National Reserve of Publications, of Moldova’s National Library.

In October –November 2021, the district public libraries (municipal town ones) will organize activities on summing up at the level of district (city, town). The most active readers will be delegated to the republican summing –up conference, due at the Ion Creanga National Library for Children in next December.
