As many as 326 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 1,693 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 326 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 164,569 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 22 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –4, medical assistants –11 and auxiliary staff -4.

As many as 2,854 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized, of whom 219 are in extremely serious condition (33 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 3,720 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 16,219 are under supervision at home.

Another 589 people have been treated. As many as 153,785 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 13 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 3,543 people have died of coronavirus in all.
