Head of Education Department in Chisinau warned not to allow delivery of altered products in schools, kindergartens

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/- At today's online meeting of the municipal services, Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban warned Andrei Pavaloi, acting head of the General Directorate of Youth Education and Sports of the city hall to resign voluntarily if spoiled food will be delivered in the municipal educational institutions.

Pavaloi said he understood the mayor's request and that "there will be no such cases."

The mayor's request came after more allegations emerged in public that a batch of frozen fish delivered to municipal educational institutions was about to expire.

Pavaloi rejected the accusations, explaining that the problem product was only part of the batch to be delivered.
