Educational institutions in Chisinau to display amounts, destination of money collected from parents' associations

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/- The municipal educational institutions will publish on their website and will also display at the entrance to the institution the amounts collected within the parents' associations and the destinations where they were used.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban requested at today's online meeting of the municipal services that the educational institutions in the capital to show transparency on the money collected within the parents' associations.

At the same time, the official requested the dismissal of the administrators of the municipal educational institutions who do not prove the transparency. "If next week I go to an institution and I do not see the information placed, please initiate the procedure for dismissal of the manager. The money collected from the parents must be transparent", he said.

There have been several complaints in the public space from some parents claiming that municipal educational institutions are misusing the money collected by parents' associations.
