Chisinau city hall to organize new auction for purchasing of buses

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will organize a new auction to buy those 100 buses promised in 2020.

At a today online meeting of the Chisinau municipal services, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, asked to make the formalities needed for the re-launch of the auction on buying the buses.

"I ask to make all formalities this week, for the re-launch of the auction on the buses and to also analyze other alternative options for the purchasing, assembling of transport units both for the suburbs and the city,’’ Ceban said.

In late last November, the National Authority for Settlements of Appeals cancelled the result of the auction on the procurement of 100 buses, after this result had been contested by all participants.

Presently, the Urban Park of Buses has 143 transport units, of which 100 have expired exploitation term.
