Roadmen continue works on roads in need of intervention in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - The patrol, clearing of snow and combating of glazed frost was ensured on the national public roads today. The works continue in the regions where roadmen’s intervention is needed, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) has reported.    

According to the institution, the territorial units of the Drumuri (Roads) stock company involved 217 special vehicles and 301 road workers in work. Presently, the road traffic on the national public roads is ensured and takes place in winter conditions.

The road managers continuously monitor all dangerous road segments, so that any difficulty appeared in traffic is settled quickly.  

The State Administration of Roads warns drivers to be informed about the situation on the route to be covered, while complying with the provisions of the road traffic regulation in force in terms of vehicle’s endowment with tyres according to the winter season and adapt the speed regime to the present traffic conditions. Drivers can demand roadmen’s intervention in risky situations 24 hours at the active phone numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

Meteorologists extended the Yellow Code of complicated weather conditions till 9 February; the air temperatures will oscillate between -2 and +3 Celsius degrees at night and will increase to +10 degrees during the day.
