Several actions to be organized on European Internet Safety Day

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- Together for a better internet! is the motto of this year's program of events organized on the occasion of the European Internet Safety Day, marked every year in February, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) has reported.
The program urges participants to become proactive, to contribute to the development of the positive aspects of the Internet, to raise awareness for a better and safer Internet, in which technologies are used safely, responsibly, critically and creatively.
On 8-12 February, activities to promote the use of the Internet in a useful and safe way will be carried out in primary, secondary and high school institutions in the country. They will include information measures for students, teachers, parents, in which the topics will be presented: the risks of using the Internet by placing personal content, exposing family relationships, the danger of grooming, cyberbullying, safe exploration of Internet, managing unpleasant situations etc.
La Strada center, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and with the financial support of the Council of Europe launched the online safety information campaign on safety of children in the online space.
