Chisinau education institutions to be required to have website

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- All educational institutions in Chisinau will be required to have an official website.

Acting head of the General Directorate of Youth Education and Sports of the Chisinau Municipal Council Andrei Pavaloi issued an order today on transparency in the decision-making process of the activity of general education institutions, through which subordinate institutions are required to have an official page web.

The document reads that to ensure the high quality of the official website, including the ability to view information correctly with different Internet access applications and compatibility with different IT platforms, the website must be set up in accordance with World Wide Web Consortium recommendations.

Earlier, Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban asked the municipal educational institutions for more transparency on the destination of the amounts collected by the parents' associations.
