Moldova's Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture starts campaign of receiving applications for providing of subsidies

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) has started a campaign of reception of applications on the providing of post-investment subsidies for 2021.

This year, the state will back farmers by providing subsidies for diverse sectors: construction of greenhouses, creation of multiannual plantations, development of the animal husbandry sector, implementation of ecological agriculture, promotion of products on sales markets, development of rural agro-tourism boarding houses and creation and extension of handicraft units, etc.   

The action takes place in line with the law on the principles of subsidization in the development of agriculture and rural environment and the government decision on the way of distribution of means of the national fund for development of agriculture and rural environment. 

The size of the national fund for development of agriculture and rural environment is of 1.1 billion lei, under the state budget law, for 2021.
