Yellow ice code valid for central, northern regions

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced for today yellow ice code valid for the central and northern regions.

According to meteorologists, icy roads will be on large areas.

In the next few days, the air temperature of up to +12 degrees Celsius are expected in the country during the day and -3 +7 degrees at night. On 12 February the weather will suddenly cool down, reaching -13 degrees Celsius.

Rescuers warn of the danger of being near water pools. According to SHS, in connection with the warming of the weather on 9-11 February, the Hydrological Center forecasts the gradual destruction of ice formations. This means that the ice on the water pools in the country will be fragile, and going out on it will be dangerous. IGSU requires increased attention from parents with minor children, as well as fishing enthusiasts.
