Moldova's legislation on domestic trade to be amended

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - A draft on the amendment of the law on domestic trade will be submitted to the parliament’s plenum for final reading. The parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances approved the report of the document today.    

The draft regards the exclusion of normative discrepancies existing in the legislative framework related to the domestic trade sector, including the adjusting of the procedural regulations with the ones from the law on regulation through authorization of the entrepreneurial activity and the law on the basic principles of regulation of the entrepreneurial activity.  

Also, the draft clearer establishes the grounds for the notification in commerce, procedure of reception, processing and issuance of notifications on reception.   

The authors say that the new law will exclude any possibility of avoiding the payment of local taxes, including through the inclusion in its content of the typology of the trade units through their systematization and replacement. At the same time, provisions on the sale of products at low price are also envisaged in the draft, through introduction of a distinct chapter.  

Also, the legislative framework will be completed with new regulations on household producers and procedure of carrying out excesses of production got from the plots of land adjacent to household or in the fruits- and vegetable growing    associations.
