Dignity and Truth Platform Party of Moldova informs it is to come up with candidacy for PM office

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Dignity and Truth Platform Party today informed that it was ready to assume the governance and would put forward Andrei Nastase for the office of Moldova’s prime minister. The Platform’s MPs demand urgent consultations with President Maia Sandu.

The lawmakers of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party said that ‘’the ball is now on the field of the country’s president,’’ and Moldova needs an anti-crisis government, which is to solve the current problems, including the ones dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Platform’s MPs said they had had a meeting with Maia Sandu on 9 February evening, during which the subject on the establishment of a new cabinet was discussed.

Today, the Party of Socialists also said that they would put forward Mariana Durlesteanu for the position of prime minister.

Both announcements had been made before the parliament gave its opinion on the programme and minister proposed by Natalia Gavrilita.
