Moldovan writer's view on 2020 year

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- For literary critic Maria Pilchin, 2020 was a good year, even if there are so many reasons to say that it cannot be good.
Maria Pilchin said that during this period she read a lot. She wrote about other people's books.
Maria Pilchin was born on January 26, 1982, in Răuțel village, Fălești district. In 2004, she graduated from the Faculty of Letters of the State University of Moldova (bachelor's degree), in 2006 - Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures of the same institution (master's degree) and in 2012 - Faculty of Business and Business Administration of the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova (license). In the period 2019-2021, she was director of the Central Library, Municipal Library B.P. Hasdeu.
She has published in the most prestigious literary magazines in Romania and Moldova. Her poems and prose have been translated into French, English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Catalan, Azerbaijani.
Maria Pilchin was awarded the Cultural Merit Order in the rank of Knight, Category A Literature offered by President of Romania (2018), the Prize of the Writers' Union of Moldova for Essay, Criticism and Literary History (2018), Prize Mircea Ciobanu for poetry of the Romanian Writers 'Union, Bucharest, 2016, Moldovan Academy of Sciences Award, Young Researchers category, For literary criticism, 2013, the Moldovan Writers' Union Award for Debut, 2013 and others.
