Chisinau city hall services work intensively to combat icing

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- During last night, the services of the Chisinau city hall for road maintenance and those of the housing and management worked hardly to combat icy roads.

The road traffic on the city streets takes place in winter conditions, and the public transport runs according to the schedule, operating 322 trolleybuses and 108 buses.

Thus, the housing and management services intervened from 01:00 with 28 machines with salt and spread 85 tons of anti-skid. Also, from 05:00, 415 workers were mobilized to fight the icing in the waiting stations, pedestrian crossings and sidewalks. During the day, priority will be given to the block courtyards.

At the same time, the Exdrupo employees intervened from 20:00 to prevent icing with 42 special vehicles and spread 503 tons of anti-skid material and 30 tons of salt.

Chisinau city hall urges property managers / owners to clear snow of their territories adjacent to the spaces they manage.
