Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- Parliament today voted on setting up essential infrastructure commission in the composition of the government.
The document approved at first reading provides for the creation of this commission, as a body subordinated to the government, aimed at assessing, observing, coordinating and monitoring events occurring in essential infrastructure.
The commission will support the coordination of actions taken by other national authorities and regulatory agencies in their area of competence and appropriate infrastructure, informing the government on possible risks in the sectors, measures and alerts.
It will assess data of entities seeking to acquire control packages, to conclude contracts or to encumber goods, elements or essential infrastructure systems, setting criteria of danger, non-transparency or risk of the entities to encumber or alienate public property, regardless of the form of the actions.
