More than 1,000 civil servants of Moldova to benefit from professional training in 2021

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the state order on the professional development of civil servants in 2021. The decision’s goal is to develop a body of professional civil servants, based on the principle of managerial responsibility, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
"We need well-trained civil servants. Here, we are talking about the quality of the knowledge, as well as about the professional abilities of the civil servants who work in Moldova’s state structures. I believe that the process of continuous professional training of our colleagues is an absolute priority,’’ acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi said.
The state order for 2021 sees 13 training programmes for 1,080 civil servants, of whom 775 employees of the central public authorities and 305 people from the local public administration authorities.
The number of 1,080 participants was established based on the budget planned for 2021, worth 1.03 million lei, meant for the professional development of the civil servants at the Academy of Public Administration.
As many as 1,034 civil servants benefited from training in 2020.
