Chisinau city hall to launch website, online survey for suburban residents

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/- The local public administration of Chisinau will launch this week the website suburbii.chisinau.md and an online survey.

The website suburbii.chisinau.md will be an official means to inform inhabitants of the suburbs about projects proposed by mayors or local councilors of the localities, the projects of the municipality and the opinion of the inhabitants will be consulted.

According to Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban, the site will be the official means of informing the inhabitants about the projects set by the municipality and the use of money from the municipal budget in the localities. "I appreciate the opinion of each mayor, but there are many cases when the inhabitants of the suburbs do not even know how the money was used from the municipal budget, or what will be done in their localities in the future and I do not know what the municipality's contribution," he said.

At the same time, the head of the Chisinau public administration said that the survey that will be launched for residents of suburbs aims to identify the required projects to be developed by the community.

Chisinau city hall provides about 100 million lei the second year in a row for the development of suburbs.

Chisinau comprises 35 localities.
