Moldovan beekeeper created model apiary with accommodation for tourists

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/- A beekeeper from Hulboaca village, Chisinau municipality, has created a model apiary with elements of accommodation, apitherapy and relaxation.

"We are waiting for those who have respiratory diseases, spine, nervous system to visit us, as apitherapy has long been known as a natural remedy for treatment. Within the apiary, we have specially arranged spaces where all those interested can try this type of therapy ", says beekeeper Vitalie Popa, director of Casa Albinei.

The beekeeper says that through this activity, Casa Albinei aims to boost the growth of honey consumption, as well as to bring this product to the consumer not only as a sweetener, but also as a natural product with many benefits.

In 2020, due to the pandemic, Casa Albinei did not receive tourists, but hopes to open its doors to visitors in March this year.

Casa Albinei (Bee House) was founded in 2004. It participated in the export mentoring program on the European Union market, implemented by Moldova Fruct Producers and Exporters Association and funded by the International Finance Corporation under the Investment Climate Reform in Moldova in
collaboration with the Dutch CBI Agency.
