New intensive therapy section opened at Chisinau-based hospital

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) and the Chisinau city hall today opened a new intensive therapy section at the Sfânta Treime (Holy Trinity) Municipal Hospital from the Moldovan capital.
The city hall informed that it had financed the capital repair works worth over 10 million lei and the endowment with equipment was provided by the Health Ministry, the World Bank and other foreign partners. The new intensive therapy and reanimation section of the Holy Trinity Hospital has a capacity of 14 beds and is fully endowed for the providing of intensive therapy services.
The director of the aforementioned hospital, Oleg Crudu, said that with the marking of the 45th anniversary of its foundation, the Holy Trinity Hospital became the institution with the largest number of places for intensive therapy from Moldova - 68. ‘’The equipment of this section allows applying new technologies and advanced treatment methods, in order to give chance to the patient in critical condition to survive, as well as to be happy with your progress, as any life saved represents joy for physicians,’’ Crudu added.
The overall cost of the investments is about 50 million lei; ten million lei was allocated by the Chisinau city hall and the rest of the sum – by MSMPS and development partners.
