Over 4,000 Moldovan Army's servicemen vaccinated against Covid-19

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - About 4,000 National Army’s servicemen have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with both doses.
According to data by the Defence Ministry, the highest immunization rate was registered at the Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of Armed Forces, where 96 per cent of the military students have been already vaccinated. They are followed by the season soldiers, with an immunization rate of 85 per cent and contract military with 75 per cent.
To efficiently immunize the National Army’s strength, an anti-Covid vaccination point was set up at the Consultative and Diagnosis Centre of the Defence Ministry. Reserve military of the armed forces are vaccinated here too. At the same time, the employees of the military garrisons from Moldova are vaccinated at the Health Ministry’s anti-Covid vaccination centres in the territory.
The vaccination campaign started in the National Army on 2 March 2021, through the immunization of the medical employees from the medical institutions and subdivisions of the defence structure.
