Romanian Consulate in Balti suspends work with public due to COVID-19

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/- Romanian Consulate General in Balti is suspending work with public due to COVID-19.

At the consular office there are confirmed cases of infection with the new coronavirus. Due to this, the work with the public was suspended starting with September 27, 2021.

All consular services will be rescheduled, as a matter of priority, at a later date.

"The measure to suspend the activity with the public is taken to prevent a possible spread of the virus among applicants for consular services and staff," the institution's release reads.

As an epidemiological investigation is underway by the Balti Public Health Center, the consulate will inform through website and Facebook page about the measures taken and about the date when the activity will be resumed with the public.
