Republican Medical Diagnostic Center to buy modern equipment with support of Japan

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/- The Republican Medical Diagnostic Center will purchase with the financial support provided by the Government of Japan under Kusanone project a high-performance device that will be used to diagnose post-COVID diseases.
A grant agreement was signed today by Ambassador of Japan Yoshihiro Katayama and hospital director Andrei Testemitanu.
According to the document, Japan offers non-reimbursable financial assistance worth 355 thousand dollars. The money will be used to buy equipment that will be used to rehabilitate patients affected by the pandemic.
The Japanese diplomat said that since the launch of the Kusanone program and until now, Japan has offered over 6 million dollars in over 72 projects.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Japan has offered the Republic of Moldova several batches of medicines and equipment.
