Notary of former Democrats' leader Vlad Plahotniuc detained in Belgium

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - The notary of the former leader of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, Olga Bondarciuc, put on the wanted list, was detained in Belgium on 27 September.
According to the police, as a result of the actions by the employees of Interpol National Central Bureau and partners from abroad, Olga Bondarciuc, 44, who had worked as notary and acted in the interests of the criminal organization, created and led by Plahotniuc Vladimir, was detained in Belgium. She was charged with the committing of forgery of public documents and false statement.
On 4 June 2021, the notary was put on the wanted list for arresting and extradition, with a judicial warrant issued by the Chisinau Court.
Olga Bondarciuc is to be extradited to Moldova’s authorities.
