INI officers, prosecutors raided Taraclia, Soroca penitentiaries

Chisinau, Dec. 7 / MOLDPRES /- This morning, officers of the National Investigation Inspectorate / INI / jointly with those of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and the National Administration of Penitentiaries, under the leadership of PCCOCS, are conducting unannounced searches at Taraclia and Soroca penitentiaries.
According to INI data, the two penitentiaries are of a closed type where convicts convicted of serious and particularly serious crimes serve their sentences.
