New headquarters for firemen, rescuers to be constructed in two Moldovan towns

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - Firemen and rescuers from Calarasi and Ocnita will have new headquarters. To this end, the cabinet today approved the transmission of real estate from the state property to the management of the subdivisions of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU). The grounds will be used for the construction of units of firemen and rescuers from the two settlements, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, better conditions of work will be provided for the IGSU employees, who will be able to act promptly in emergency situations, providing quality services to citizens.
The project on construction of the headquarters is financed through the technical assistance programme launched by the U.S. Government in Moldova.
