Alexandru Oprea new head of Moldova's General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - Alexandru Oprea is the new head of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU). He will hold the vacant position, after Mihail Harabagiu has submitted an application on resignation.
The new IGSU head today was appointed to office by the cabinet of ministers after he was dismissed form the position of state secretary at the Interior Ministry (MAI).
Interior Minister Ana Revenco made statements to this effect. She noted that Alexandru Oprea was rescue colonel and had experience in the field of management of emergency situations of more than 23 years.
Also today, the government appointed new state secretaries. Vladimir Archelov was appointed at the Finance Ministry and Viorel Cernautan and Daniela Misail-Nichitin – at MAI.
Also, new deputy directors were appointed at two institutions subordinated to the government. Afanasie Tarlev was appointed at the National Food Safety Agency and Tatiana Sava – at the Public Property Agency.
