Moldovan president receives accreditation letters of ambassadors of Iceland, China

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu, at a today’s official ceremony, received the accreditation letters on behalf of Ambassador of Iceland to Moldova Árni Þór Sigurðsson and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Yan Wenbin, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials discussed the present situation in Moldova, developments in the region and the need to enhance the economic cooperation between Moldova and Iceland and, respectively, Moldova and China.
The head of state wished the new ambassadors success in exercising their mandate and voiced confidence in the success of the deepening of the bilateral relations with their countries.
