Kindergartens in Chisinau to promote healthy lifestyle concept

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/- All children of kindergartens in Chisinau will be educated under a healthy lifestyle.

300 teachers, methodists and employees of the above-mentioned institutions participated in an online training course, entitled Formation of food culture in preschool children.

The training aimed to improve feeding children and ensure a culture of quality nutrition.

According to Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici, the development of food culture in early education institutions comes to promote a healthy lifestyle necessary for the harmonious development of children and ensures the prevention of chronic diseases in the future adult. "Children who are taught from an early age to eat breakfast daily, eat fruits and vegetables, to exercise, will practice these skills in adult life and will educate their little ones based on these principles. Thus, the investment in health education has effects for several generations ", the official said.

The activities carried out during the training stage will be disseminated by the participants in the early education institutions in which they work.
