Cricova winery has new acting director

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- Sorin Maslo is new acting director of Cricova winery and will hold the position until a contest starts for vacancy.

The new leadership was introduced to the team by director-general of the Public Property Agency Eugeniu Cozonac. APP head said that despite crisis faced by the country and the entire world, the Moldovan wines continue to have a strong presence on the international markets, so all the existing possibilities must be turned to good account to the maximum.

"The age in which we live and the openness we have internationally, allow us to amplify the possibilities of development and prosperity of the company. That is why we need an administration with a broad, creative and revolutionary vision, ready to launch and accept challenges. I hope that the new interim director will make every effort to bring the fame of the Republic of Moldova to every corner of the map through your products. I urge you to continue. We are here to encourage you and to provide you with the necessary support where it is needed ", said Eugeniu Cozonac.

Sorin Maslo also has economic studies in wine technology. For the last 20 years, he has held several positions in the Cricova Winery, including that of head of the marketing department and commercial director of the company.

The Cricova winery was founded 70 years ago. It was awarded the highest state distinction - the Order of the Republic, being the only winery in the country that holds this order.
