Ten batches of drugs donated by WHO reached Chisinau

Chisinau, March 18 / MOLDPRES /- Ten batches of medicines, consumables and medical devices donated by the WHO have been received by the Ministry of Health as aid for refugees.
According to the Ministry of Health, the ten batches of humanitarian assistance come from the World Health Organization and the European Union, from India, Italy, Israel and the United States of America. The medicines, consumables and medical devices were stored in the warehouse of “Sanfarm-Prim” SA, and the ministry has already started to distribute them, as needed, to the health centers and hospitals in the country.
The Ministry of Justice reiterates that all refugees on the territory of the Republic of Moldova have access to essential medicines and medical supplies. In total, there are over 100,000 refugees in the country.
