Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will suggest that the Constitutional Court (CCM) validates the MP mandate for Roman Rosca, an alternate candidate on the list of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).
At a today’s meeting, CEC took note of the vacancy of a lawmaker mandate assigned to PAS. The decision was taken, after MP Dorel Iurcu had submitted an application on resignation, as the mandate of mayor of the Horodiste commune, Rezina district, was validated for him.
Thus, the vacant mandate was assigned to the next candidate on the PAS’ electoral list – Roman Rosca, a councilor in the Chisinau Municipal Council.
The MP mandate is to be validated by CCM.
