National Army Sergeant and Private Corps to have new epaulettes

Chisinau, August 10 /MOLDPRES/- Sergeant and Private Corps of the National Army will have new epaulettes. A decree to this effect was signed by Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, President Maia Sandu.

Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi today handed the new type epaulettes to the main sergeant of the National Army, Andrei Cojocaru, noting that the process of development and professionalization of the force of soldiers and sergeants in the National Army will continue, and thanks to these changes, the military ranks of the National Army will allows increasing interoperability with the armies of other states.

According to the decree signed by the head of state, "the military rank insignia for the troops of soldiers and sergeants of the National Army are composed of angular chevrons in the shape of a deer, chevrons in the shape of a concave arc and eight-pointed stars, arranged in pale and united or not laterally through vertical galloons".
