Moldovan tax body registered 10,663 lease contracts since beginning of year

Chisinau, August 25 /MOLDPRES/- In the first seven months of 2022, the income tax receipts from private people leasing real estate amount to 22 million lei (1.1 million euros), up by 20.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the State Tax Service (SFS), as a result of the voluntary compliance and information actions, 3,253 private people leasing real estate were identified during the period.

"For 348 private people leasing real estate, the following were calculated additionally to the budget: basic payments worth 204.3 thousand lei, late payment increase of 15 thousand lei and a fine of 31, 8 thousand lei", SFS said.

Following the actions taken during 2022, 10,663 real estate leasing contracts were registered.
