Moldovan president meets representatives of European Business Association

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met more members of the European Business Association (EBA) from Moldova. The discussion was focused on the security and economic situation in the country and the conditions in which the business from Moldova carries out its work.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state thanked the EBA members for the fact that they had invested in Moldova, creating jobs and contributing to the economic development, as well as for the fact that they remain here in these difficult times. ‘’We can edify a solid democracy and a resilient economy only with a strong private environment,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The Moldovan president noted that the governance carried out more reforms, the goal of which is to improve the business environment from Moldova. One of the priorities stays the justice reform and the cleaning of the system from corrupt people, through which the good work of the state’s institutions will be ensured and which is expected by the entire society. Also, the process of digitalization of the public institutions will continue, thus facilitating the business’ activity too; the education reform, in order to improve the professional training of graduates and renewable energy projects will be backed, which are to help consolidate the country’s energy independence.
