Several artists of Maria Bieșu Opera and Ballet Theater received honorary titles

Chisinau, 30 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The decree on awarding honorary titles to some artists of the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theater was published in the Official Journal today.

Under the document, based on Article 88 (a) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and the Law on State Awards of the Republic of Moldova, the Moldovan President decrees: for prodigious activity in culture, contribution to the promotion of moral-spiritual values, outstanding successes in creative activity and high professional mastery, the honorary title People's Artist is awarded to Oleg Constantinov, Svetlana Popov.

The honorary title of Master of Art was awarded to Rodica Picireanu. The honorary title Emeritus Man was awarded to Victor Burla and Ion Luchian.

The honorary title Emeritus Artist was offered to Ștefan Donos, Irina Iastremscaia, Iurie Maimescu, Ana Racoviță and Viorel Zgardan.
