Moldovan president pays working visit to northern district

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today paid a working visit to the northern Rascani district, the presidential press service has reported.  

„I was to north Moldova today, to the settlements Mihaileni and Recea from the Rascani district and I thank the residents of these villages for the quite warm reception and the useful discussions we held. Through joint efforts, with people as they are – hardworking, kind, confident – we will manage to overcome the difficulties of the moment and edify a European country here, at home,’’ the head of state said.    

At the same time, the Moldovan president visited the Lactis factory of dairy products from the Rascani town. ‘’I was happy to know the factory’s staff, which, including with state’s support, manages to invest in the enterprise’s modernization and develop the business. We will continue backing the entrepreneurs who invest in the quality of products, as their efforts contribute to the growth of the country’s economy, creates new jobs in our country and generates more incomes to the state budget,’’ President Maia Sandu stressed in discussions with the factory’s employees.
