Parliament voted 81 legislative initiatives last month

Chisinau, April 3 /MOLDPRES/- In March, 81 draft laws were voted in the first or second reading in the Parliament. In the same period, 49 projects entered the legislative procedure.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 35 legislative initiatives were voted in the first reading. The MPs also adopted 46 laws. It should be noted that eight drafts were voted on in the first and second reading in the same plenary session.
Among the legislative initiatives adopted in the plenary session of the Parliament are the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) and the external evaluation of CSJ judges, setting the phrase "Romanian language" in all normative acts, as well as the increase of the monthly allowance for veterans of the war on the Dniester, the war in Afghanistan, participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident and other categories of the population. At the same time, in the first reading, the package of laws aimed at the activity of the Intelligence and Security Service was voted, as well as the legislative initiative proposing the delimitation of the powers of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anticorruption Center when investigating cases.
In March, the MPs convened in three plenary sessions. Each of them took place over two days.
