Moldovan speaker talked to citizens settled in Lithuania about latest events at home

Chisinau, April 5 /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Vilnius, Speaker Igor Grosu met with Moldovan citizens residing in Lithuania. People were interested in the latest events in the Republic of Moldova, including those related to security, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The official addressed the justice reform. "We are determined to go to the end, even if there is a lot of resistance in the judicial system. We are obliged in front of citizens to punish the big corrupt and not allow them to control our country," Grosu said.
Another issue was related to the number of air flights connecting Chisinau and other states. The official said that after almost ten years, the Chisinau International Airport was back under the state's management. "Now the responsible institutions have the mission to ensure best functioning, from now on, so that citizens can benefit from more routes, to more destinations, at affordable prices", Grosu said.
Also, the participants referred to tourism in the Republic of Moldova, the organized festivals and Moldovan wine, which has become a country brand. Grosu invited the Moldovan citizens residing in Lithuania to be ambassadors of our country by promoting culture and ancestral traditions.
On April 3-5, Grosu pays an official visit to Lithuania.
