Moldovan poetess edits book of poems

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/ - A book of poems by poetess Calina Trifan has recently appeared at a Chisinau-based publishing house.

According to editors, the work repeatedly confirms the value of poetry by this author, who distinguishes herself by both a concise and deep and comprehensive writing.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Calina Trifan said the volume had 112 pages and was published in 600 copies and comprises poems written on the last period.

Calina Trifan was born in the Slobozia Mare village, southern Cahul district, on 30 April 1953. She edited more books of poems. Trifan was awarded the Mihai Eminescu medal in 2015, the prize of excellence of the Moldovan Writers’ Union in 2019 and other literary prizes.
