On Easter of the Departed policemen to ensure public order and streamline road traffic

Chisinau, April 22 /MOLDPRES/ On Easter of the Departed, employees of the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) will ensure public order and streamline road traffic throughout the country.

According to the IGP, the police officers will be involved in public security monitoring missions and deterring any actions that could affect the peace of citizens. At the same time, they will monitor compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations.

Law enforcement officers advise citizens to take care of children, avoid excessive alcohol consumption and avoid traveling on the road as pedestrians.

At the same time, the police urge drivers not to consume alcohol if they are going to drive, to respect the rules of road traffic, not to park in prohibited places, so as not to create obstacles in traffic, to avoid parking cars next to cemeteries and to be careful with pedestrians.

The Easter of the Departed is celebrated on Saturday and Sunday, and in some localities on Monday.
