Moldovan president congratulates archer Dan Olaru, gold medalist at World Cup

Chisinau, April 25 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu sent a congratulatory message to athlete Dan Olaru, who achieved a remarkable result in the debut stage of the World Cup, the presidential press service has reported.

"Success honors those who believe in it, believe in their own strength, work hard and overcome all obstacles and challenges. We are proud of our young people who turn every day into sure steps to victory. Dan Olaru, the 26-year-old, guided by coach Irina Cecanova, won the gold medal in the first stage of the 2023 Archery World Cup. It is a first for the Republic of Moldova", the head of state said.

The president wished success to the athlete and his coach in the following competitions: "I wish you good luck in the World Cup finals and return home with new victories!".
