Moldova-born fine artist exhibits works in Bucharest

Chisinau, 25 April /MOLDPRES/ - A painting exhibition titled, The Black Sea Bees, by a Moldova-born fine artist, who settlement in Bucharest, Vasile Rata, has been recently opened in Romania’s capital.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Arbor Association, cultural manager Victoria Nagy Vajda said Vasile Rata was an incomprehensible artist, like a contemporary continuer of European Dadaists and Russian vanguardists.
Vasile Rata was born in Calarasi on 11 March 1966. During 1988-1990, he attended courses at the Moscow-based Cinematography Institute, the films and script writing section and then during 1990-1994, he studied at the Academy of Arts from Bucharest, painting section. Starting from 1996, he has been member of the Fine Artists’ Union of Romania.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on 27 April and will be opened till 28 May.
