Moldovan PM pays visit to CoFeAlm Moldovan-Italian enterprise

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has visited a Moldovan-Italian enterprise from the Peresecina village, central Orhei district, specialized in the construction of greenhouses. The company has become leader on the national market in terms of providing products of European quality to farmers from all over Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

In 2010, Aurica and Petru Zestrea returned home after three years of work in Italy and started this family business, turning the headquarters of a former enterprise into a modern and success firm. The entrepreneurs welcomed the visit by PM Recean, noting that, during those 13 years of work, they had been visited by an official of the Moldovan leadership for the first time ever.      

For his part, the prime minister appreciated the courage, investment and achievements of the business people, emphasizing the need to facilitate the entrepreneurship and attract foreign investments in Moldova.    

„The Zestrea family is another good example of entrepreneurial spirit – it diversifies the range of products, following the tendencies on market, develops the local economy and provides 13 jobs to residents of the region and helps another hundreds of families of Moldovans grow qualitative vegetables at home. The improvement of the business environment is one of the government’s constant priorities. We attract more investments in settlements, in order to consolidate the economy and increase the exports of native goods,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.    

The company’s managers say that they have ambitious plans of extending the business and create jobs for citizens from the settlement.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean today pays a working visit to the Orhei district. This is the fifth trip to the territory by the official, after the ones paid to Falesti, Briceni, Drochia and Criuleni.
