Students from Moldova won silver, bronze medals at European Physics Olympiad

Chisinau, June 21. /MOLDPRES/- The Olympic team of the Republic of Moldova won two silver medals, a bronze medal and an honorable mention at the European Physics Olympiad, held in Hannover, Germany, on June 16-20, 2023.
Ștefan Amarfi and Vadim Ionaș, students of the "Orizont" Theoretical High School in Chisinau won silver medals. The bronze medalist is Paisie Rusu, a student of the "Aristotel" Theoretical High School in Chisinau, and Victor Vorona, a student of the "Orizont" High School in Chisinau received an honorable mention.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), 176 students from 38 countries attended the seventh edition of the European Physics Olympiad. The Republic of Moldova was represented by five students and one teacher.
