Eight candidates admitted to contest for office of director of Moldova' National Energy Regulatory Agency

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - Eight candidates have been admitted to the public contest for the office of director of the administrative board of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE). A decision to this effect was adopted by the members of the parliament’s commission for economy budget and finances today.

The candidates admitted are Andrei Adam, Victor Gonța, Pavel Ciubotaru, Cornelia Gorincioi, Victor Melinceanu, Adrian Gorodenco, Alexandru Ursu, Diana Enachi.

The contest was launched on 12 April and was extended on 24 May. The files were to be submitted till 7 June 2023. The meeting of the parliament’s commission for economy budget and finances, during which the director of ANRE’s administrative board will be selected, is scheduled for 28 June.

The ANRE’s administrative board is made up of five directors, appointed to office by the parliament, based on a contest. Presently, one position of director is vacant.
