Dorin Chirtoaca elected Chisinau mayor for third mandate

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Liberal Party's (PL) candidate, Dorin Chirtoaca, has got the third mandate of Chisinau mayor, picking up 53.54 per cent of the ballots, while the candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Zinaida Grecianii, grabbed 46.46 per cent of the votes, after 100 per cent of the reports had been processed.

Dorin Chirtoaca is 37 years old and has been holding the office of Chisinau mayor since 2007.

As many as 307,735 electors voted in Chisinau, which accounts for 48.79 per cent of all the number of citizens recorded in the lists.
