Moldovan blood transfusion centre to be reorganised

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The National Blood Transfusion Centre will be re-organised by merging with the two regional blood transfusion centres from Balti and Cahul. The cabinet today approved a decision to this end.
Acting Health Minister Mircea Buga said that "the project is aimed at creating a single consolidated institution, a well-organised system at national level, that will ensure efficient management of donors and blood, maintaining a high level of protection of people's health."
At the same time, by this merger, the minister is set to significantly reduce the expenses for administrative devices, given that the new institution will have one head, a single accounting office, human resource service, etc".
After re-organisation of the two regional centres, the staff redundancy will be carried out in accordance with the labour legislation in force, and the spending for re-organisation will be made from the state budget for 2015.
