Moldovan, Hungarian officials approach security issues

Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/- Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today met Hungarian Defence Minister Csaba Hende, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's communication and media relations service has reported.
Galbur appreciated the cooperation with Hungary in the security and defence sector, especially within the cooperation programmes with NATO. Also, he welcomed approval of an assistance package for Moldova by the defence ministers of the NATO member states in last June.
For his part, Hende reiterated Hungary's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova. He reconfirmed the support of Hungarian authorities for Moldova's European integration process.
Also, the officials opted for boosting the trade exchanges between the two countries.
Today morning, Andrei Galbur, Csaba Hende and Acting Defence Minister Viorel Cibotaru participated in a ceremony of inauguration and unveiling a monument dedicated to Hungarian heroes dead in the World War II, held at the Eternitate (Eternity) memorial venue.
