Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - Special Representative of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office for the Transnistrian conflict settlement, Ambassador Radojko Bogojevic will come to Moldova on 7-8 July.
According to the OSCE Mission in Chisinau, Bogojevic will go to Tiraspol to meet the chief negotiator on behalf of Transnistria, Nina Shtanski and Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk on 7 July.
Bogojevic will meet acting Prime Minister Natalia Gherman in Chisinau on 8 July.
These meetings represent a result of the visit to the region on 30 June, when Bogojevic met Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, the chief negotiator on behalf of Moldova Victor Osipov. The two separate visits are due to the need to fit the main negotiators’ travel plans.
These visits are part of a string of meetings of the OSCE Chairmanship and the OSCE Mission to Moldova with partners in the five-plus-two format in Kiev, Moscow, Brussels and Washington, to discuss ways to boost the Transnistrian conflict settlement.
