Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/- The agreement on creation of ruling alliance could be signed this week. The leaders of the three pro-European parties made the statement at the end of a new round of negotiations on 18 July.
The negotiations lasted several hours, and at the end, the three leaders announced that the process would continue, as some issues on government had to be discussed.
"It is working on the government programme and it is more efficient to overcome all critical points until beginning of the activity. We have already agreed the issues related to cooperation with foreign partners. I think we had good talks that will be successful. We came to a balance that will allow each component to negotiations to benefit from responsibilities, as well as the possibility to materialize them", the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Vlad Filat, said.
Liberal Party's leader Mihai Ghimpu said that the creation of AIE III was ever closer. He noted that the topic on sharing positions had not been discussed yet, but there was already partners' agreement that the EU representatives should work in all main institutions.
The leader of the Democratic Party (PD), Marian Lupu, said: "we started to discuss the stages of implementing priorities: setting up government and election of head of state. Today we approached the idea on ensuring the 61 votes necessary to elect head of state and we proposed to invite independent MPs to the talks".
